Golf is one of the most popular activities in Mallorca, and at Son Julia we take great care to make sure that our guests can enjoy some of the best courses on the island, not just with special rates on green fees but in some cases with preferential tee times as well!
Son Julia has agreements in place with the following golf courses. Just ask Reception to book your tee times for you and benefit from the reduced green fees we have negotiated for you.
The East Course at Son Antem, just 5 minutes drive from Son Julia, was inaugurated in 1994 and is an 18-hole resort course with wide open fairways, designed by Francisco López Segalés. Woodland and lakes come into play on some holes, adding to the interest.
The West Course at Son Antem, also designed by Francisco López Segalés, is a championship course, with verdant hills capes adding to the lakes & woodland. The large American-style greens provide an abundance of challenging putts.
The exclusive golf club of Son Gual is less than fifteen minutes drive from the hotel. The course at Son Gual is 18 holes, Par 72, 6621 m in length and designed by Thomas Himmel. It is the most exclusive and newest golf course on the island.
Take the chance and take part at the III. Son Julia Golf Trophy at this sensational golf course on 8th November 2008.
The three related 18-hole courses of Son Vida, Son Muntaner and Son Quint all offer preferential green fees to Son Julia guests.
Just 20 minutes drive brings you to Golf Park Puntiró, an 18 hole course with a par of 71, designed by golfing legend Jack Nicklaus, and measuring over 6,000 metres from the back tees, a great course in a superb natural setting.
Last but not least, is the course at Club de Golf Alcanada. This Robert Trent Jones Jr designed course opened in 2003, and measures 6649 metres from the back tees. A beautiful course, many of the holes have spectacular views over the bay of Alcudia.

For those of you looking for a personal golf Pro we would recommend you Marc Amort. Marc Amort is a licensed golf trainer, who has been fully qualified by the PGA of Germany. After having played as a professional for ten years, he has dedicated his life to teaching golf. He coaches all levels: beginners, enthusiastic club golfers, team players, and he have even taught the two famous German players, Christoph Günther and Marcel Haremza.
